Is this the same person who left her dying dog with you? I think there is a whole lot going on that is missing from what you are describing which makes it difficult to determine whether this has anything to do with her attachment. Are you seeing a therapist right now? Because if you are not....it might be good to talk to one. 7 years is a long time to be in a relationship and then have someone just leave.
