Whatevs. You can believe anything you want. But I love the scientific studies in here about illnesses associated with attachment type.
This is what falls under anecdotal at best, amongst a highly biased sample set, who also all share the common attribute of searching for answers to explain things they find unexplainable. Yes, we should gather this data and the reference it later when newcomers come by desperately seeking answers on either how they are at fault, or not at fault for a seemingly perfect relationship exploding.
“OMG, yes! He totally got sick In The first 2 months! So textbook”
Aliens to poke at, or is it that you’re actually concerned for their well being?
It's strange to me that you equated us exploring a potential link of illness and attachment (and really attachment here is a proxy for trauma) as a way of saying "we aren't at fault for the relationships imploding. My perfect relationship went to shit because my FA partner also has a lot of chronic illnesses" I didn't take anything said that way at all. As a matter of fact, at least in my case I wasn't even talking about a partner at all! I have zero investment in his illness whatsoever. Was merely repeating that he told me (and again this is a quote) "I was dreading spending time with her so much that I think I made myself sick". Should I ignore what he tells me??
In fact, there are many scientific studies that demonstrate this link. You seem more keen on accusing us of only presenting "anecdotal" evidence as opposed to looking any up, so I will link some here (I don't really have time to find all the articles for you, so please feel free to take up where i leave off). I can't seem to find a way of uploading a PDF so the best I can do is link, sometimes only the abstracts. I will also sum up the major findings for you.

This passage is taken directly from a paper I will link below: " has been proposed that attachment styles characterized by avoidance of emotional expression(e.g., insecure-avoidant, dismissing and fearful styles, or Type A attachment strategy) may predispose individuals to chronic pain conditions": www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5184796/pdf/children-03-00021.pdf

If your complaint is actually that you feel like we are specifically picking on FA attachment and not the other attachments styles (which is how you sort of seemed to deviate towards the end of this thread) than that is a different complaint entirely. I would argue that I presented at least one specific paper that addressed this, but more to the point, this thread was in the FA section. Had it been in the AP section maybe we would see similar patterns there as well. I have no idea. I would actually be interested if the APs who read this (of which there many) experience a higher incidence of illness. I'm not in any way saying it couldn't be the case
