Anyone who would like to join in please feel free, I would like to build upon a daily practice in noticing thoughts, emotions and feelings in the body, in a compassionate way, without judgement but with curious kind attention. This is a secular practice.
I will post a different meditation over the next thirty days - the first is a very good introduction to noticing sensation in the body.

This is already part of my daily thing, but I stand in firm support, over here, in my body. Haha! It's been a major factor of my own awareness habits and practices.

I look at it as a deeply self compassionate habit, treating myself with kindness if only for ten minutes a day and cultivating some space in my head in this frantic world, is such a lovely gift.

I need way more than 10 minutes a day for self care and kindness to myself! Nurturing bodywork is a great way to receive loving care also. I get massages weekly, and even consider my hair and pedicure appointments to be me loving me, and letting others love me. I have developed warm relationships with the professionals who help me take care of my body, humans helping humans is a great way to experience life. It changes the DA theme. It's a better way.

I am behind...haven’t even started with 1 yet...but already noticing withdrawal like symptoms from having seenB. Weepy, missing him, less assured and more scared....I feel tense, colicky...I was a colicky baby and I think when I withdrawal I go back to those sensations of not being able to settle...needing more...but not sure what enough is. I need to do some visualizations....I find that picturing Jesus rocking me as a baby helps...because Jesus loves me unconditionally and is not bothered by my crying. I sense he loves being with me which is so different from my experience with my mom. Just wanted to give you an update.

Pause for ten seconds and notice the thoughts - then use one word to describe what you’re experiencing- maybe stress / sadness / anger / or whatever. The pause helps for even a short moment to put you in the position of observer.

Day 5 - a short gentle loving kindness meditation.. For all attachment styles being able to be present with feelings without reactivity is the key to healing and this is what meditation teaches. The easiest way to start is by accessing body sensations and simply noticing them and the thoughts, feelings that come and go. drive.google.com/file/d/0B5yuVhngWnXWY1VCQlk2WlZtQWM/view
