I was just wondering because my long term relationship w my ex is a major commit phobe but my most recent relationship was w a total DA. They reminded me a lot of each other but the DA had more distinct characteristics of a DA. My commit phobe seemed like a milder version of a DA. The commitment phobe wasnt dismissive w my feelings and didnt run the same way but definitely wouldn't commit to anything in his life. I mean not even having a car payment or buying a house, all that was too much of a commitment.

That makes a lot of sense that the Da can be a phobe but the phobe doesn't mean DA.
My commitphobe did try. We lived together for 5 yrs but i always felt like he had one foot out the door. Plus he was majorly depressed and also has mother issues. My ex hub had mother issues too. Im a magnet for that! Im 3 for 3 now. Haha. I really thouggt I cleared up my issues after the commit phobe but I guess not.
