Started dating someone. It feels sooo good to go into something new feeling healthy. He's open, honest and kind and seems to be secure.
But...
I think about him all the time! Not in a painful or unpleasant way. I don't feel anxious. But I just think about him a lot! It's annoying.
Any tips on alleviating this!?

Not in a painful or unpleasant way. I don't feel anxious. But I just think about him a lot! It's annoying. Any tips on alleviating this!? Why is it annoying? When things are new and you like someone...isn’t it ok to think about that person a lot? Especially if it isn’t tied with any unpleasant feelings. 🙂. BTW...congratulations on seeing someone who does not trigger unpleasant thoughts. Mindfulness...which is being fully aware and present in the “now” is something that can help. You can also give yourself “thinking about him” moments.....which are moments in the day when you allow yourself to just really think about him...no restrictions. So, say, you spend 45 minutes doing something...then 15 solid minutes of just thinking about him. You can also write down your thoughts about him...but I honestly think that thinking about someone you are getting to know and like is very normal.

I guess I just see it as a bit of a weakness. And I'm a bit scared of falling for someone.
