I know that one of the greatest challenges faced for individuals with AP attachment, is an inherent thought that there is something wrong with you....because if there wasn’t something wrong with you...your parents would have loved you consistently, your boyfriend or girlfriend would not have broken up with you, you would not be so terrified of being left, you would not be told that you are too much, clingy, overbearing.....but I am here to tell you a different story. You are lovely, handsome and worthy of love...you are not broken, you are not crazy, you are not defined by your attachment....you are only responsible to who you are now and you are ok. Hugs.

A big hug for you too trn9! Your kind post reminded me of a book I really loved: There Is Nothing Wrong with You: Going Beyond Self-Hate by Cheri Huber www.goodreads.com/book/show/27580.There_Is_Nothing_Wrong_with_You
