My friends want to set me up....

So yesterday I went to a birthday party and 2 of my friends there were telling me about this nice guy they know who has 5 cats they want to introduce me to.  I so appreciate that they were thinking of me...but it honestly felt a bit overwhelming because they were just soooooo eager.  I was thinking...if this guy is so great, why aren’t you dating him...lol. I agreed to a casual coffee or dinner with a group of people including him,, but reminded them that I want to approach this as a possible friendship versus a future partner.  I think this will be a good opportunity to test my new skills and boundaries.
