Chronic Freeze Response and toxins:
Therapies can help but do not fix a cellular energy problem. You will continue to go back and forth between stress (sympathetic) and freeze response (dorsal vagal response). When it comes to toxins, what doesn't kill you will not make you stronger. Instead, it may just put you into overwhelm and chronic freeze. Toxins can be a big part of the biology of trauma... and a person getting stuck in their trauma patterns - moods, overwhelm, over-reactions and everything! Bottom line, some experts says that toxins can lead to cellular overwhelm, which you can experience as emotional overwhelm.
