For anyone lurking (or for current members) and interested in the possibility of finding a moderated online community for the purpose of healing attachment styles, I've located one on Facebook. I've requested to join the private group, so am not familiar with the dynamics BUT the community rules and guidelines look very promising, in terms of fostering a respectful dialog where each member is to take responsibility for their posting- including their own triggers. Courteous communication is required, as it's moderated.
I will be tightening up my privacy settings in order to give it a go. I'm not sure I like the prospect of connecting on social media for the topic but the fact that it's a private, moderated group with expectations for behavior is encouraging enough to attempt it.
The cover photo for the group is a chart showing the stages of insecure to secure, and lists traits and abilities that show up with advancing levels of awareness/ security. That alone is very helpful and something I haven't seen addressed here much.
Just wanted to pop back in to share for anyone looking for resources to grow with.
