Happy Christmas, folks. Thankfully it was a lovely 29 degrees here as well. Last year it was 43 (110 F). How did you spend your day? I hope it was enjoyable for you. We are working to organize and stock the store that my boyfriend is opening, so it is productive as well as fun to be the ol' lady at a mom and pop shop. We did buy a pumpkin pie to binge on, but otherwise it's like any other Sunday which is so peaceful. Do you have any plans for New Year's? We will enjoy normalcy then as well, maybe with more pie of some sort 😋

I’m a lucky bloke. Lunch with my daughter and ex-wife. How on earth that relationship has endured and evolved is beyond me. I have a few days work, then it’ll be New Years. Where I am isn’t too big on that, with our main fireworks being on Australia Day, Jan 26th. Different in Victoria, though.
@introvert, that sound positively relaxing. I’m glad you had a good day.

That's so great mrob. The best way to spend the day... with your daughter and her mom. Your friendship is probably a testament to your character, and your ex's in spite of your struggles with attachment. I'm happy for you and especially for your daughter to have that relationship modeled for her. Holidays used to be so deeply painful and stress provoking for me, but now this time of year is very peaceful because the world goes crazy and then shuts down but I just keep steady on, doing my own thing. It was truly a peaceful day. Here's to the freedom to choose!
