By Christmas time I will not be coming back. Even though I am not 100% cured I won't be coming here anymore.
I intend to embark on a more intense healing journey so I can start a fresh shiny brand new year. It came to a point where I am feeling that keeping writing about my exDA and reading about other Dismissive men is keeping me stuck in the past somehow.
I understand it all now. I know what happened and why. I need to stop playing the record in my head.
I want to express my profound gratitude to Jeb and everyone here. This place is truly life saving. I hope I was also able to give some help along the way.
And fingers cross I won't be back with "same stories but different man" ... But if I do, oh well, it is part of the journey I guess. I bet it won't take me another 9 months to see the light.
Good luck to us all and happy 2018.

I hear you. I'm almost in the same place. I respond less and less and remembering him through these forums is not helpful.

Best of luck on your continuing journey, DearLover. You see more clearly now, and I want to thank all the people here who have helped by supporting others.

I don't post often, but I do come back to read every so often... thank you for your posts and responses DearLover. I wish I were at the same spot as you. After 5 months of NC, my ex DA and I just had coffee on Sunday. I must admit, it was good and it was bad... it's not yet done for me and it will take some time. I also respect the strength and discipline that you have. Take care and all the best!

DearLover... I wanted to wish you good luck in your new journey... Thank you for your contribution and I hope we have helped you along the way...
