It must be that end of year feeling - but echoing Dear Lover's last post, I have reached the point where it seems healthy to move on from this forum.
I have gained so much from reading everyone's stories and from sharing my own. It has helped me greatly to realise that none of what happened was my fault as such - and that this really was a dynamic that I was powerless to change.
It's taken a good while to fully let go - but I am pretty much there and have reached the stage where commenting and reading about these stories so similar to my own, are just allowing threads of the past to remain when I really need to move forward, so this will be my last post.
With all good wishes and love to those who are suffering - and hope that you all have a Christmas that brings at least a sprinkling of peace and joy - and that the New Year brings more of the same.
