My ex is a commitment phobe. Think she is a DA/FA combo. Whenever we would argue, she would get sick with diarrhea and/or vomiting. After we broke up the first time, she was sick like this for over a month, even though we didn't talk. Does this happen for other FA/DA's? Any thoughts or opinions? She seems to not care when we breakup and will express that she doesn't, but then gets sick.

I believe there's research to show that even though avoidants discount the importance of others in their lives, their bodies do still show signs of distress in the absence of them

It's common for emotional stress to cause physical illness..
I was in a 4 year relationship with a very secure guy who wasn't REMOTELY avoidant and he would vomit when we argued too!

It's interesting to me because she would act so unscathed, uncaring and then I would find out she would be sick for days/weeks.
