I'm glad to be reminded that there's something to erase...his contact from my iPhone! Thank you both. This is the surest way to ensure I won't be tempted to contact him in any way in future.
I hope that he will move on to find the mate who will fit exactly his needs, truly, so both of us can get closer to meeting the right partner, and no longer keep each other in limbo. It's the kindest act we can both do for the other.
I will continue to do the memory erasure, to focus on the unpleasant moments I wanted to turn away from, it's what helps the most.
